Week 10 Wonders and Worries

Steve Smith--this is basically a very risky situation, but my gut tells you to play him with vigor. Even though he sat out on Wednesday with a sore hip, with QB Vinny Testaverde more than likely getting to play, he should be ok--if it were David Carr at the helm all game, I'd be a little worried, but Testaverde seems to have followed the Panthers philosophy of just "getting him the damn ball".

Steven Jackson--the drama of whether Jackson will play, how much, and how valuable he'll be is always up in the air, but with taking week 9 off, he has a favorable matchup against the Saints, and should be a decent play this week.

Ryan Grant--one of the big hot waiver wire pickups a few weeks ago, Grant has slipped into oblivion and plays a decent Minnesota run defense. Sit him.

Marc Bulger
--ohmygoodness--he's not on the injury report! YEY! Facing the Saints should be just what the doctor ordered. A good week to get him back in the lineup.

Cedric Benson--he's struggled like many of the Bears have this season. With coach Lovie Smith dropping hints that backup Adrian Peterson may be getting more carries, Benson wasn't a great fantasy play anyways, and now he's a liability.

....and now you have the REST of the story....
