Vick now in dog house with RBC

RBC_logo.jpg

Michael Vick continues to get the hits on him even as he's sitting in jail. The irony is if anyone is actually surprised that there is still more fallout from the fallen QB's situation? My short answer is no. The Royal Bank of Canada is happy that they received a summation for over 2.5 million that has been determined that Vick now owes RBC in light of his "dismissal" from the NFL, a nuance in the loan that they had given Vick long before the legal troubles set in. (I guess that's why they have those contract, eh?)

The question is, will they ever see a dime of that money? Probably, but my guess is that it will have to be in the way of what deadbeats have to repay debts; settling, garnishing, holding future earnings, etc. I am sure Vick's money is hard at work with accountants and financial guys who will probably spin a way not unlike O.J. Simpson saying "Hey, I don't have any more money, it's allllllllllllll gone" (Yet we have seen Simpson out on lavish golf courses and the guy obviously looks like he hasn't missed a meal in a while).

The Vick saga continues, and while this really probably is about as thought-provoking as what happened last night on Masterpiece Theatre, it still goes to show the sad and life lesson that people should continue to take from Vick and be one of those eye-opening scary stories that parents should tell their youngsters....Ok, maybe that was a bit much, but you get my point.
