Tuna to take job with Dirty Birds?

The Atlanta Falcons just have not seemed to catch a break with anything. From Michael Vick to the latest escapade with Bobby Petrino, they've just wallowed around the league--it's almost sad. It would be an understatement to say they need a huge shot in the arm.

Cue Bill Parcells.

Reported by ESPN that he "will probably take the job", he could be a white-collar "football overseer" for operations with the team--meaning one of his main first jobs would be to find a new coach. This is great news for Falcons fans if it happens--he certainly is still a great name in football, and he should lure some wonderful talent to the organization. However, he also has the same type of "nomad-like" qualities that Petrino exhibited (ok, not to THAT extent), so Atlanta should be prepared that doing this type of work is not something that will be forever for Parcells.

Of course, anything is better than what has happened this season. While nothing has really been confirmed, hope is something that only the Falcons have at this point, and my guess is that Santa just suddenly got a million letters asking for Parcells to join the team! :)
