T.O.'s mouth getting him in trouble again

This is like saying that water is wet. Terrell Owens' mouth is getting him in trouble? Say it ain't so!

Of course--there may be some validity to his statement--this time. After Tony Romo had an absolutely awful game last week against the Eagles, Owens made some commentary that it was due to him being jinxed by apparent girlfriend Jessica Simpson being at the game--and he said it jokingly, but of course the media made it out like he was getting ready to slice her throat.

As usual.

Owens may have been joking, and he has that right---but come on, Terrell---you should know by now that anything you say will be skewered in the "honor" of good press. Of course, now there have been reports that there's no hard feelings from his "jokes"--but there never should have been that question if 1)Owens just would watch what he says and 2)the media wouldn't take everything and run with it.

This has exploded, of course--now even anti-Cowboy fans are making printable pictures of Jessica for people to wear to the games on popsicle sticks in an attempt to rattle him. And sports betting sites are taking wagers on whether Simpson would be in attendance should the Cowboys be at the Super Bowl.

Geesh.
