Top Waiver Wire Pickups Week 4

Now that there are some big name injuries and some teams already looking to make some changes, there are probably some names you should be very aware of. Let's get to it.

Bryan Leonard, RB, Rams--Some owners may be shying away because they don't feel Steven Jackson's injury is that big of a deal. Folks, I am here to tell you that it very well could be at least two, maybe three weeks. So go out and get Leonard--it seems that RBs with the Rams are manufactured much the way that the Broncos do year in and year out. Give him a shot.

Ron Dayne, RB, Texans--Obviously my choice for Ahman Green was a bit off....obviously. But with Dayne available now versus the Falcons and Green seemingly turning as fragile as a 90-year old with brittle bones.

Daunte Culpepper, QB, Raiders--Jamarcus Russell won't be starting anytime soon, and with Culpepper's experience and the team seeking an identity, he faces an exploitable Miami secondary this week. He should keep the job until he remembers he's not in Minnesota.

Brian Griese, QB, Bears--Ok, it's not officially over for Rex Grossman, but, hey, that rather large lady is starting to hum a little. The Bears are not exactly the offensive juggernaut even without Grossman, so don't bet too highly on Griese, but he could be a pretty good pickup over the season.

Greg Jennings, WR, Packers--With Brett Favre clicking on all cylinders and the drive being back in Green Bay towards his last hurrah, receiver Jennings is reaping all of the benefits. He seems to be very comfortable and if he's available, run, don't walk to get him.

Jeff King, TE, Panthers--While TEs are not usually high on people's list for the waiver wires, he's had three solid weeks and is in the top 10 for the position. He's a definite must if you're faltering at this position.

You're welcome in advance!
