Regrets...I've had a few...(Except Now)

NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell has no regrets. Are ya sure?

After being questioned for why and whether he should have destroyed the "Spygate" tapes that the New England Patriots used in the scandal that rocked the franchise early in the year, Goodell remarked that he had no regrets in doing it--along with all of the notes that the Patriots took while doing it. Deflecting the attention off of him, he quickly referred to a Patriots employee who may or may not have taken more evidence of other taping or even more about the original Spygate, saying that if he did indeed do so, he's in some trouble.

Ummm...sorry, Mr. Goodell, but you don't get off that easy. Why in the world--no matter what the outcome of the situation--why in the name of Bill Belichick would you get rid of everything? The ONLY thing that it implies is that by destroying this that THERE IS MORE TO IT. More evidence--bigger and worse things--and Goodell, although he is the sheriff of the NFL, saw something that could implicate a worse fate for the NFL than the Patriots, much like what steroids is doing to baseball. It's too bad that we'll never know.

Or will we?
