Packers at Redskins: Election Day Is On Sunday

election_2004Packers at Redskins: Election Day Is On Sunday

Most of us will be glued to our television sets on Tuesday to watch the so-called official election results get tabulated and reported ad nauseam. But we're just wasting our precious time watching Aaron Brown's forehead collect moisture when the winner will be known a full 48 hours earlier.

Since the Redskins became the Redskins in 1933, the result of the team's final home game before the presidential election has correctly predicted the White House winner. If the Redskins win, the incumbent party wins. If they lose, the incumbent party is ousted. - SacBee.com

70 years, 18 elections, and this gridiron political prophecy hasn't been wrong yet.

It should be noted; both teams come into this game with losing records. Packers are favored by 2. Right so far.
