Niners getting serious at WR

1001cardsgamer1-autosized258.jpg

The San Francisco 49ers have been searching for that great receiving game ever since Terrell Owens left almost 4 years ago. They've gone through draft picks and struggles at QB, and while they may not still have an amazing passing game, they certainly shouldn't be able to complain about those that are catching the ball.

With the signing of Bryant Johnson from Arizona, the Niners now have Johnson, Isaac Bruce, and Ashley Lelie at the receiver position. Johnson had to play behind Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin as the third option for Arizona for the last two years, but he has #1 potential all over him, and with an experienced receiver like Bruce on the team, he should be mentored very nicely.

Lelie is still a mystery receiver, one of those guys who has all the potential but just has never seemed to turn around that "great" corner. Depending upon what the Niners do to focus on these three, you could see a huge turnaround in the overall offensive production with the changes they have made in the offseason.
