4:03: And with the 21st pick the Jags take....Reggie Nelson. I like this pick. The Jags defense is pretty good already, and now they add a playmaker like Nelson. Nice.
4:05: We've now entered the "Quinn Zone." Dallas or Kansas City could take him in the next two picks, or this is probably the spot where a team like Detroit or Cleveland trades up to snag him. Should be an interesting few minutes.
4:07: Ed Werder is reporting on the Cowboys...from Oakland! Gotta love Ed. Just said that he exchanged text messages with Tony Romo, and that he'd be stunned if the Cowboys took Quinn here. Werder is just the guy I would imagine texting with Tony Romo.
4:16: Cleveland trades up and takes....Brady Quinn. Quinn goes two picks ahead of where Rodgers went. No word on what the exact trade is. I'm interested to see how much they gave up to get back into the first round.
4:21: So it turns out that Cleveland traded the Cowboys their 2nd Round pick and their 1st Round pick in 2008. That's probably going to be a pretty high pick. I guess we'll see if it ends up being worth it. That's a pretty high cost.
4:22: Quinn looks pretty ragged as he talks to Suzy Kolber. He says he couldn't be more happy to go to Cleveland. Just look out for some freak injuries. Strange things happen in Cleveland. Brady's voice sounds kind of raspy, like he's been sobbing for a bit. Was he crying in his private suite?
4:25: How happy is Kornheiser that he was able to put together some emotional speech about Brady Quinn's day? I really thought I would have to wait for Monday Night Football to hear crap like that.
4:27: Kornheiser apparently is leaving for the day already, and makes a HORRIBLE joke about ordering Kiper's draft guide for his family for Xmas. Makes me really happy he's leaving. I'm not a big fan of the forced funny.
4:32: And with the 23rd picks the Chiefs take....Dwayne Bowe. Not surprised at all that the Chiefs take a receiver here. It seems like they (much like the Eagles) are continually looking for a good receivers with no luck. Bowe is a good pick here. Should be a nice target for whoever the hell is playing QB for the Chiefs this season.
4:36: In an amazing development we are getting close to the end of the first round and Chris Berman still hasn't tipped anyone's pick yet. Maybe Goodell told him if he spoiled any of his picks he'd break his legs. That's something I could totally see happening.
4:47: And with the 24th pick the Patriots take....Brandon Meriweather. The first of their two first round picks. Meriweather could have gone to Carolina with the next pick so if they wanted him they probably had to take him now. Meriweather helps fill a need at safety for the Pats, and if they ever need a guy to stomp on people during a brawl he also fills that hole as well.
4:52: Why does ESPN subject me to Mark May AND Sean Salisbury in the same studio? The United Nations considers this kind of thing torture.
4:55: And with the 25th pick the Panthers take....Jon Beason. I was expecting another Hurricane to go here, but was expecting it to be Greg Olsen. Olsen is slipping a LONG way here, but no one's talking about it on ESPN at all. Looking at the board he could slip even further if the Eagles or Bears don't take him.

You have to figure Quinn is headed to the Chiefs. The moon and stars are seemingly aligned for this to happen.
