NFL Draft Live Blog: First Round Picks 16-20

3:04: Mel just said, "People say Brady Quinn doesn't play well in the big game, but look at what he did against Michigan State." HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! I don't even have a comment for that.

3:05: Anyone else think Aaron Rodgers is sweating right now? You don't think the Pack takes Quinn here do you?

3:12: And with the 16th pick the Packers take....Justin Harrell. I thought they would be taking someone from Tennessee, just thought that would be Robert Meachem. They show Packer fans in Green Bay and they are booing the pick. Don't they own the team? Can't they fire somebody?

3:16: Steve Young is pist off the the Packers went defense instead of going Wide Receiver. I think he and Mortensen are going to get into a fist fight about this. Mort is right here that there are two sides to the ball and you can get a receiver later as well. Plus they may trade for Randy Moss too. Steve just seems a bit angry today. I think he got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

3:19: Brady Quinn is slowly going into Aaron Rodgers territory right now. I never thought that would happen. This is a pretty amazing drop thus far because Rodgers wasn't that good, but Quinn will be a pretty good QB.

3:23: Denver trades up with the Jags up to 17. The Broncos always seem to move up in the first round. Wonder what they are moving up for....

3:25: What's up with all these teams trading up and still running the clock down. Why trade up if you don't know who you want?

3:26: Keyshawn thinks the Broncos should draft a wide receiver up here. Apparently everybody needs to go receiver in the first round according to him. Dumbass.

3:27: And with the 17th pick the Broncos take....Jarvis Moss. This is a guy with those dreaded "character issues." With those he probably went one pick too early with the Bengals now in the clock. They should have Moss sit down and have a "scared straight" interview with PacMan Jones.

3:34: And with the 18th pick the Bengals take....Leon Hall. I think this could be a great pick for the Bengals. He could have gone as high as 10 to the Texans, and here he is at 18 for Cincy. Solid pick.

3:40: The Titans are on the clock, and you have to think that they are going receiver here. Meachem should be pretty good here since he'd be staying home. Should make Keyshawn pretty happy.

3:46: And with the 19th pick the Titans take....Michael Griffin. Um, well that's an interesting pick. First off I thought Meachem made a lot of sense here, but also taking Griffin ahead of Reggie Nelson is a bit puzzling to me. I guess we'll see. This has been quite an unpredictable draft.

3:51: So we're at pick 20 and Quinn is still sitting on the board. The Giants are up now and they aren't taking him. Don't think the Jags will take him at 21 either, but after that you have Dallas and Kansas City, so I don't think Brady has too long to wait.

3:56: And with the 20th pick the Giants take....Aaron Ross. Another interesting pick. The Giants have big holes at both linebacker and tackle, and yet they pass over both and go defensive back. I like Aaron Ross, but don't know if that was the Giants biggest hole.

That's exactly what they said about some guy named Peyton too.
