Hit the Panic Button? LJ, Hasselbeck, and Vince Young owners worrying

Ok, so we're deep into the season, and you should know your trends as well as know who is here to stay in the fantasy world. For some of us that have been holding on to our guys like it is an old wooby (if you don't get that analogy you must be under 30), it is time to start thinking a little. For some, it's a rush to the red button to deploy the bombs on everyone and everywhere. But before you destroy your proverbial world, think about this--

Larry Johnson has been out and out a straight up dissapointment. While his game and opponents have been tough to face, don't forget he faces the swiss-cheese Bengals this week and has 2 games each against running-back allergic defenses in Oakland and Denver. He's still a solid keeper no matter what the guy with oceanfront property in Arizona is trying to tell you.

Matt Hasselbeck has been lukewarm as well. Many owners started shelling him for pretty much anything when news came of Deion Branch's injury as well as the running game being mysteriously suspect. With upcoming games against the Rams and Saints though, Hasselbeck and co. should be just fine. Repeat--I will not drop Matt Hasselbeck...I will not drop Matt Hasselbeck.

While this is a far stretch to think that Vince Young owners may be worrying overall, his numbers Sunday were scary, as in Rex Grossman scary. With him still being young in a not-so-offense friendly team, and the fact that his legs are as valuable as his arm, it should serve notice that he WILL have games like this--just like Michael Vick has done before he started killing dogs (or maybe during--which would explain some things...)

Anyways, this is my gift to you, grasshoppers--patience! While these guys may be up and down, they still are salvageable, and if someone is trying to tempt you with two or three for one deals, don't bite unless one of them is with these guys :)
