Gary sues Pats over 2002 Super Bowl

ramspats.jpg

Willie Gary wants his money--he wants it NOW. Citing Patriots employee Matthew Walsh, who stated that he had taped a St. Louis Rams walkthrough for the Patriots prior to the 2002 Super Bowl, Gary is wanting punitive damages for what he claims was cheating on New England's part.

The problem is....where's the proof? Where's the logic here? Filing a lawsuit is at this point--frivolous, don't you think? Sure, there are issues and a lot of question marks surrounding how much the Pats actually did, but come on--I mean, is this NOT the act of someone who is JUST trying to get a settlement?

Allow something with this to happen, and you open the flood gates. What the sad part is that the NFL should have been tougher, should have been more open, and perhaps it would avoid these individual civil suits. Either way, this whole situation reeks....
