Fantasy Football MVP Award from Footblog goes to...

Why even waste the drama? Tom Brady...now get the hell out of here.

You still here? Ok...well, are you surprised? I mean, the likelihood that he is going to break a record that Peyton Manning broke just a couple of years ago that was really never supposed to be broken is extremely high. He's also done it without a running game--at least when Manning did it he had high quality running back Edgerrin James--I mean, Brady has had to deal with deep secondarys all season long--and he has still thrown for just short of 4500 yards and 48 TDs.

With the fantasy year of the RB being pretty bleak, the other big name was--well, Randy Moss. As much as I can't stand the Patriots, Moss proved once and for all that he is the best WR in football. All he really needed was a team that would throw to him consistently. If he gets one TD next week, he'll tie Jerry Rice's all-time record of TDs in a season. And again, constantly facing double teams, Moss has just been amazing.

Others that deserve mentioning as having exceptional years: Tony Romo, Peyton Manning, Derek Anderson, Brian Westbrook, Adrian Peterson, Terrell Owens, Braylon Edwards.

Tomorrow's post: The biggest surprises of 2007.
