Did you know??

Some tidbits to chew on while reading your morning paper....

While the Jags decide on whether to use David Garrard or Quinn Gray, does it really matter? I mean, Garrard is still shaky with his injury issue and Gray is obviously untested, and they are facing a surprisingly consistent Titan defense that has the ability to shut a lot of teams down. If you're deciding between these two, take option C--none of the above.

Philip Rivers usually doesn't have back to back bad games, blah blah blah. Tom Brady threw 3 TDs against the Colts blah blah blah. Let's not forget that overall the Colts are in the top 5 for pass defense, and they still have a tendency to give up run yards because of this. Rivers will not have a good game.

Marshawn Lynch
is a no-brainer this week and could put up the biggest numbers fantasy-wise. The Dolphins couldn't even stop me, even though I was recently clocked at 4.7 in the 40. That's 4 min, 7 seconds (an improvement, mind you).

Bernard Berrian--don't fall prey to the premise that Oakland just plain sucks on defense. They may be hapless against the run, but the passing game is where they step it up. With the Bears running game being very muddled, and the QB situation in Chicago pathetic, Berrian will have a lot of down jogging back to the line of scrimmage, mostly with a scowl on his face.

Enjoy these little nuggets. You gonna eat that danish?
