Bush's year gets worse: Now he's out for year

Amidst all of the discussion of the Heisman Trophy and Tim Tebow, there has also been discussion about Reggie Bush and the rumor that he could have his Heisman taken away from him because of allegation of several improprieties while he was in college at USC. And now, after a tough year overall for the Saints, Bush has now learned that his season is over due to injury.

Bush had his knee examined for a second time by an orthopedist and the worst was confirmed--a PCL tear. Since he assumed the role as the Saints' featured tailback following the week three season-ending ACL injury to Deuce McAllister's left knee, Bush has taken a greater pounding than he did last season when McAllister was available to lighten the offensive load. Unfortunately, this has to lead to a season-ender.

Bush practiced as late as Thursday, but didn't mention any issues at the end to the media. However, that evening he complained of soreness, to which the team ordered an MRI, revealing the tear. For Fantasy owners, this means that Aaron Stecker is a great pickup. If you need a back, get him tonight or he'll be gone tomorrow morning.
