Broncos continue to be secretive about running game

It's always been a classic thing with Coach Mike Shanahan....Never show your hand, don't even hint at your hand, and rumors are rumors are rumors. The poker-faced Denver coach continues to frustrate fantasy owners with his cryptic approach to naming running backs for the proceeding weeks, much like he has done pretty much his entire career with Denver, other than when Terrell Davis was there.

So, at running back, here is the scenario: both Selvin Young and Travis Henry practiced fully through their knee injuries, while the high ankle sprain through which Andre Hall played in most of Sunday’s game consigned the third-team tailback and first-string kickoff returner to the sidelines. When asked, Shanahan said "if there's no setback, hopefully they'll be able to go on Sunday..."

They'll be able to? In my best Charlie Brown voice "AAAAAAAAAAAUGGGGH!!!" Mr. Shanahan, doing this sort of thing doesn't do anything other than give you the satisfaction of being the evil mastermind, the "Wizard" behind the curtain--it doesn't help your team's chemistry, it doesn't help the oddsmakers, it doesn't help fantasy football owners. I know you're there to win games, but COME ON. This is why I have yet to take a Denver RB in any fantasy league in the 2000s. For those of you that have, I can only begin to feel your pain....
