Brady who? Anderson continuing to impress

Charlie Frye started the year as the Browns QB. Many fans were clamoring in Cleveland to play Brady Quinn, the hotshot draft pick from Notre Dame. Naturally, what has happened? Neither is doing anything for the team, and what's more, QB Derek Anderson has stepped in and continues to impress everyone game in and game out.

In six games since his promotion, Anderson is 4-2. His 17 touchdown passes rank second in the NFL. His 95.5 passer rating ranks sixth. He tied a franchise record with five touchdown passes in a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 16. In Anderson's starts, Cleveland has averaged 31 points, and the Browns enter Sunday's game against the Seahawks with consecutive victories for the first time since 2003.

Since he's no longer a quiet commodity, can he keep up the pace? With the Browns having actually a decent amount of weapons, there's no reason to think why he can't be in the top ten for the rest of the year, especially considering the weaker schedule they continue to face. As a fantasy player, he has got to be the most valuable in terms of waiver wire players for the year, hands down.
