Biggest Fantasy Surprises of 2007

And without further adieu....

Quarterback: Derek Anderson

No question here. The guy wasn't even supposed to be a starter and the Browns were supposed to be grooming Brady Quinn for their future starter. Well, look no further than Anderson, who has been in the top 5 statistically for a while now--and that's with Tony Romo and Tom Brady having career years. Anderson is hands down one of the biggest waiver wire pickups ever.

Honorable Mention: Brett Favre

Come on. Honestly, did you think he'd put up those numbers again?

Running Back: Adrian Peterson

After the horrible injury that ended his senior year at Oklahoma, Peterson's draft stock dropped quicker than Britney's panties. But when the Vikings took him, he's not only proven the naysayers wrong, he's been one of the best overall. Definitely the rookie of the year without even thinking twice.

Honorable Mention: Earnest Graham

He's been solid for the second half of the year. Who knows, if we would have gotten a whole year out of him, he could have been the one with the award.

Wide Receiver: Marques Colston

With the horrid start that the Saints took, no one would have guessed that Colston would have over 1100 yards catching and in the top 10 overall. He's definitely propelled himself to superstar status.

Honorable Mention: Brandon Marshall

Ok, he only has 6 TDs, but he did have 1200+ receiving yards. Had you heard of him before the season? Didn't think so.
