Bad Moon Rising

moonseahawk.jpg

For the second time in a year, former Oilers and Seahawks QB Warren Moon was arrested on a drunken driving type of charge. The first was in April 2007, and the second December 28 in Medina, outside of Seattle. While he had a Texas driver's license, his driving privileges in Washington had been revoked after the April charge.

Moon, who is a color analyst for the Seahawks, was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2006. But two times in the same year--Mr. Moon, you've got a problem controlling your intake and your judgment to drive while impaired. He is also potentially ruining his reputation in the football world if he continues to have these issues, much less his position with Seattle.

It will be interesting to see what happens with his hearing on Feb. 5th, but my guess is he will be mandated to undergo counseling of some type, and for his own sake, I hope there is and it works for him. He is a good guy, but some times these decisions overshadow the person.
