Alexander the Great No MoMo

Shaun Alexander, once a boon to fantasy football owners, is done, folks. He is DONE. I can't say that enough. A guy who hasn't done jack for almost 2 years is having another MRI and hasn't practiced shouldn't be someone that you count on anyways, but with the Seahawks holding onto supersub Maurice Morris, plus coach Mike Holmgren proclaiming that Seattle will pass more, Alexander's days are long gone and I would say at this point see what you can get for this lemon.

Sure, he has 24 extra hours to heal, but why does it matter? I believe that Larry Johnson can rebound, but that's because of the personnel surrounding him being a little bit more depleted. Alexander has no excuse--the offense has been upgraded and he still has struggled. I used to really like the guy, and no, I don't have him on any of my fantasy teams, but it's like watching the movie "Shane". Time to break out the hankies and cry for a couple minutes while reminiscing on "what used to be and what is now".

Morris should be a super-hot prospect on your radar, and if you are looking for a QB, try looking to trade for Matt Hasselbeck. Holmgren isn't cryptic--ever--so if he says they'll pass more, they will.
